LEGO CMF 71046 Series 26’s space theme extends to its display stands

The display stands included with LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 also appear to have fully embraced this year’s space theme.

Thanks to an online retailer we got our first look this week at LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26. The line-up of 12 original characters is expected to be available online and in stores from May 1 and will then be followed in September by a series based on Dungeons & Dragons.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 includes an eclectic mix of faces, ranging from the likes of an alien tourist, an android nanny with the first-ever pink space baby, a bug-like extraterrestrial and many more. As usual, each minifigure will come sealed in blind box packaging, requiring some sleuthing on the part of collectors in order to obtain a complete set.

In addition to the line-up of new space-based faces, a closer look at initial images for LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 reveals that each character may also come with a unique display stand.

Every LEGO CMF released to date has included a 3×4 plate to place a minifigure on, handy if you’re looking to line up all of your collection next to one another. However, while those plates tend to usually just be plain black pieces, LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 seems to feature printed stars on those elements too, even if they may be a little hard to spot at this stage in the pictures below.

While printed display plates have appeared before, most recently accompanying the exclusive minifigures included with this year’s initial LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets, they’re certainly an unexpected (but welcome) bonus in this year’s LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26.

You should be able to pick up all 12 characters and their unique display stands when LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 drops on May 1, 2024.
