LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 21 vignettes – Beekeeper

You won’t bee-lieve what we’ve come up with for our next vignette for LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71029 Series 21.

Okay, maybe you will if you already know that this latest batch of 12 characters includes a beekeeper. But that shouldn’t take away from the buzz around this exclusive build, which is basically sweet as honey. (We’ll stop now.)

If you haven’t yet caught up on the rest of our buildable environments for 71029 Series 21, make sure to do so by clicking through here. Then scroll down to see what we’ve done with the beekeeper, who’s just one of a dozen brilliant characters in this newly-released blind-bagged series.

Vignettes don’t need to end at the ground level, and that’s a bee-lief (sorry, sorry) we’ve carried through to this model to really get across that distinctive black and yellow striping. The tree takes its cues from plenty of official LEGO designs over the years, while the beehives are a very handy piece to have in our arsenal – but it’s the three-piece bees that are most essential to selling the concept of this vignette. They’re attached to the trans-clear supports using clips, which are mostly hidden by the angle of the image.

People figures should not be gender-specific. The prior beekeeper figure was not gender-specific. This new one appears to be male due to the mustache. Lots of females are beekeepers including me. Let kids dream of all the different things they could do and be!
