LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31129 Majestic Tiger available at John Lewis

LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31129 Majestic Tiger is out of stock at the official online store, but you can still pick it up through John Lewis.

This year’s one and only Creator 3-in-1 set (so far) is up there with the theme’s very best models, as you can read in our in-depth review. That probably explains why it’s currently so hard to come by through official channels – it’s been ‘temporarily out of stock’ at LEGO.com practically since release, so if you don’t have a LEGO Store nearby (or can’t get to one), you’re plum out of luck.

Fortunately, 31129 Majestic Tiger isn’t exclusive to LEGO.com or LEGO Stores, which means you can still find it through select third-party retailers – such as John Lewis, for example. There’s no discount at the moment, but given how popular it’s proving (and that it’s only just launched), there’s unlikely to be one for a good while.

At 755 pieces, it’s absolutely worth the full £44.99 price tag anyway – so much so that you might be tempted to buy two or three copies to build all of its three models simultaneously. The incredibly detailed (and anatomically-correct) tiger is obviously the main draw, but the red panda and koi fish are definitely worth a look-in too.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
