LEGO DC 2025 The Dark Knight set rumoured to be a remake
More rumours, mostly for 76303 Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker have surfaced for the LEGO DC 2025 sets.
LEGO DC’s rumoured 2025 set selection has everything from a build with Batman at long last to a new set inspired by The Dark Knight trilogy including a new minifigure and we might have a better idea of what to expect thanks to the latest reported details.
Palnettt (re-reported by a reliable source on Reddit) has shared a list of additional rumoured information for the LEGO DC 2025 models, or more specifically for 76303 Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker.
The most notable detail is that the set will reportedly be a remake and judging by the rumoured piece count of 429 elements, a remake of 76239 Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown seems most likely. Those additional seven elements could go towards the minifigures, of which Two-Face is said to be debuting a new hair element.
Three of the four LEGO Two-Face minifigures have featured specialised hair pieces but with a source material such as The Dark Knight trilogy, something more specific may be in order.
The villain’s appearance in The Dark Knight trilogy is bereft of any hair on his malformed side, but a hair piece mixing standard hair with a smooth rounded top printed with burned details would do the job well. This would be unlike anything we’ve seen before in LEGO DC, but Marvel has proved that printing on hair elements is entirely possible thanks to Echo in 71039 Marvel Series 2.
76303 Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker is also rumoured to include the Bat-Signal that glows in the dark and Joker’s minifigure is stated to feature his purple coat, as he appeared in 76023 The Tumbler but without the leg printing.
Their third point mentions that Batman has the moulded cape recently featured in 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze. It’s not clear whether they mean the Batman minifigure in all of the rumoured sets, or just 76303 Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker though.
