Watch designers explain the new LEGO Minas Tirith set
Following the official reveal of LEGO Minas Tirith, you can watch the designers explain the latest The Lord of the Rings set straight from Billund.
Matthew is back with another video from Fan Media Days 2025, where he got an early look at the newly-revealed 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith. The 8,000-piece model will be released early next month with an exclusive gift-with-purchase, the latter of which was not featured at the event.

LEGO Minas Tirith has been long-awaited by fans, and there were concerns over the best scale to recreate the walled city. Minifigure-scale allows for some exclusive figures, but means a truly colossal build, while microscale means minifigures would be out of place in favour of a likely lower cost.
11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith is still pricy at £579.99 / €649.99 / $649.99, but its scale is the best of both worlds with minifigure-scale interiors and a microscale exterior. You can take a closer look at the set in our announcement report.
11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith features 8,278 pieces, and will launch on June 1 for LEGO Insiders or June 4 widely for £579.99 / €649.99 / $649.99. There will be a livestream for this model later today at 5:00pm BST, too, featuring the designers answering questions about LEGO Minas Tirith.
