Double VIP points on everything at LEGO.com this weekend

LEGO VIP Weekend is just around the corner, and the headline deal for most of us will be the chance to score double VIP points across everything at LEGO.com.

While there are a couple of gifts-with-purchase worth noting – 40484 Santa’s Front Yard and a retro gift tin – they could well be in short supply (at least if previous events are anything to go by), while double VIP points will be available all weekend.

Racking up double VIP points is basically the best offer you’ll find on the LEGO Group’s direct-to-consumer sets, such as 75309 Republic Gunship, 10294 Titanic and 21330 Home Alone. It’s equivalent to 10% cashback on some of the most expensive sets around, which aren’t likely to see discounts elsewhere – at least in the immediate future.

For instance, 10294 Titanic will net you £57 / $63 / €63 in vouchers to spend on future purchases, while buying 75309 Republic Gunship will see a return of £33 / $35 / €35 in points. There’s really no better way to soften the blow of buying those massive sets, which should help you to tailor your purchases across LEGO VIP Weekend/

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
