LEGO DREAMZzz's 2024 sets differ from first launch pattern

Unlike its first year, LEGO DREAMZzz's 2024 sets will be debuting before the second season of the series, unless there's to be a surprise launch.

In 2023, the first part of LEGO DREAMZzz's launch occurred in May with the release of its first episode, followed by the sets in August. The plan for 2024 appears to be the opposite as a new press release mentions only the first season of the series.

“We are beyond excited to be able to unveil the additional LEGO DREAMZzz products as we continue to celebrate the wondrous world of dreaming and explore what happens when dreams become real,” said Cerim Manovi, Creative Director for LEGO DREAMZzz in a press release. “With the release of the new products, we hope that kids all over the world push their imaginations to new and exciting heights.”

The press release goes on to mention that all episodes are available to watch now on the LEGO YouTube channel and other streaming services, though a second season has been previously confirmed and there is currently no news regarding its release date. The episodes that are available now are all part of the first season.

Unless there is to be a surprise launch on January 1, it appears that LEGO DREAMZzz's second wave of sets will precede the new episodes and not the other way around as it was in 2023. Much of the 2024 sets appear to take inspiration from earlier episodes anyway, with the notable exceptions being parts of 71475 Mr. Oz's Space Car and 71477 The Sandman's Tower.
