LEGO fan designers are still not done with Totoro
After no fewer than four Totoro LEGO Ideas projects made it into the last review, another one has now snuck into the third 2025 round.
Studio Ghibli fans have sent yet another Totoro-themed LEGO Ideas project past 10,000 supporters on the platform, putting it in with a chance of becoming a real set. My Lego Totoro – Catbus is based on Catbus from the 1988 Studio Ghibli animated film My Neighbor Totoro.
Fully built, the proposed set stands a pretty mighty 25cm high, 70cm long, and 21cm wide, made up of 1,765 pieces. The Catbus is posable and can stand on its own 10 feet, with the head, legs, and tail all with varying levels of motion.
You can also remove the roof to interact with the interior of the Catbus, where you’ll find a brick-built Totoro with an interchangeable expression, as well as two more Totoros of different sizes. There’s also a minifigure of Satsuki Kusakabe.
My Lego Totoro – Catbus becomes the 46th project in the third and final 2025 review round. With just a couple of weeks until the end of the year, here’s a reminder of what’s made it to 10,000 supporters so far.
