LEGO reportedly fixing Star Trek Enterprise sticker error

The LEGO Group is reportedly preparing replacement stickers for 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, so the new Star Trek set can finally go where no one has boldly gone before.

The latest in a long line of LEGO sticker blunders can be found inside this year’s Black Friday release, as the show’s iconic quote is represented as ‘to boldy go where no one has gone before’. Fortunately for anyone who’s already ordered the 3,600-piece set and its three free gifts-with-purchase, StoneWars reports that a corrected sticker will be available to request from December 5.

All you’ll need to do is contact the LEGO Group’s customer service team by phone or online. A replacement sticker will then be dispatched free of charge. As the piece in question is hidden inside the Enterprise and not easily accessible once the model is finished, you may want to hold off building it until the corrected sticker arrives – but this is LEGO, so it won’t be impossible to swap it out if you can’t wait to crack the seals.

10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D is currently on back order and will ship by December 3 in the UK, but is available with immediate delivery in the US after briefly going on back order earlier this morning. Buy your copy before December 1 and you’ll receive 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod, 40775 Mini Knight’s Castle and 40776 Hot Chocolate Stand free of charge (while stocks last).

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

I sent an email to Lego customer service on Saturday, November 29th about the printing error in the enterprise set. Received an answer today this was their answer: of course we understand that you also want stickers with the correct printing . Fortunately, our quality service was already able to adjust the spelling error with the new print. That’s why we’re sending you a brand new sticker sheet.

It is an ugly build. Like they couldn’t be bothered to hide the bumps with smooth pieces.

Do you really think the first sets will have more value because of the error? Why?

Most error items in all collections are more sought , therefore worth more than newer or non error one’s. Thought this was a given n known thing, must be from tik Tok where the truth lies lol

that is what chatgpt is for. lego should have used ai to grammar correct the mistakes. but this will make the value of the first run set go up since this mistake in sticker error is a couple of first batch runs. every company is holy grailing ai and how wonderful it is. perhaps lego did this intentionally to up the value of its first batch.
