LEGO Fornite’s huge vehicle update’s contents revealed

The contents of LEGO Fortnite’s next massive update have been revealed as customisable vehicles are coming to the mode alongside much more.

You might want to hop back into LEGO Fortnite following the fishing update as Mechanical Mayhem is right around the corner. The latest version of the game is going live on March 26 and, as previously teased, it’s adding vehicles including some pre-made options and parts to make custom cars, trucks and more.

The pre-made options for vehicles include the Speeder, Offroader and the massive Hauler. The key art for the update demonstrates that additional elements can be attached to the Offroader and the Hauler. The latter can even carry a house with your base inside.

Parts to make custom vehicle creations are also coming to LEGO Fortnite tomorrow including Power Centers as the engines, steerable and powered wheels, a driver and a passenger seat. That’s on top of a compost bin to convert any unwanted items into biomass, fertilizer, or soil. Biomass can be used to make power cells, which in turn power the Power Centers.

An especially exciting addition for adventurous LEGO Fortnite players is the wrench, which will allow you to pair specific thrusters to specific switches for greater control. Rounding out the new additions is the Illuminator to light up dark areas of your world. It should be useful in caves. The update will also include new villagers, new food and gameplay changes as detailed in the official blog post.

More outfits are getting a LEGO Style too including The Foundation, The Prisoner and The Visitor alongside many other characters from Fortnite history. The Mechanical Mayhem update arrives in LEGO Fortnite on March 26.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
