LEGO Fortnite adds even more skins – including festive update

LEGO Fortnite has promised to continue updating its library of skins and some new additions are already here, just one week after its launch.

At least seven more detailed LEGO Fortnite skins have appeared in the game, just one week after its release. This includes a brick-style version of Fortnite staple Jellie, a Rare Outfit in the game that can be purchased in the Item Shop for 1200 V-Bucks or with the Jellie Bundle for 2000 V-Bucks. Plus, you can also get everyone’s favourite humanoid fish kitted out in a festive costume with the newly-revealed Fa-La-La-La Fishstick, available to buy in the Item Shop.

What’s more, five Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are also available in LEGO-fied versions. Naturally, this includes the main quartet of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, as well as the gang’s first human ally, April O’Neil.

Epic Games has promised more than 1,200 LEGO Fortnite skins, many of which are already available in one shape or form. Some are more detailed than others, however, with the game developers working on introducing fully detailed skins for the full library over time. There are also some licensed skins in Fortnite that won’t translate across to LEGO Fortnite, but only a few hundred – a drop in the ocean when looking at the 1,200 that are on the way or already here.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
