LEGO Fortnite joins the latest Fortnite Battle Pass

Six months after LEGO Fortnite launched, part of the mode has joined the Chapter Five Season Three Battle Pass alongside a Marvel LEGO style.

LEGO Fortnite launched days after the fifth chapter of Fortnite started and while it has since welcomed LEGO Styles for various outfits available to use in-game, LEGO Kits in the item shop and a LEGO Star Wars Adventure Pass, the mode has been mostly separate from the Battle Royale mode and its Battle Pass, until now.

The Chapter Five Season Three Battle Pass launched earlier today includes several outfits, emotes and more with a post-apocalyptic theme. On the first page of the Battle Pass though, the Wastelander’s Rampart LEGO Kit is featured. This is the first time that a LEGO Kit has been featured in the Battle Pass since LEGO Fortnite’s debut.

LEGO Kits can only be used within LEGO Fortnite and while several of the new outfits in the Battle Pass have LEGO styles, this is a notable moment for the LEGO Group’s collaboration with Epic Games and opens the door for more themed LEGO Kits in the future. Items for use within the other new mode – Rocket Racing – have similarly appeared in previous Battle Passes.

Also to note from the Chapter Five Season Three Battle Pass is a Magneto outfit that has a LEGO Style, though you cannot yet use this outfit as it will be released later in the season. The new Fallout outfit has not received a LEGO Style.

Those who want the Marvel character or the LEGO Kit will need to pick up the new Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks and earn enough experience over the next month and a half to gather enough Battle Stars and redeem all the rewards.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
