LEGO Fortnite might be revealing rumoured Spider-Verse CMFs early
LEGO YouTuber AshnFlash has been sent LEGO Fortnite Spider-Verse skins ahead of their release – possibly giving us our first look at rumoured CMF designs.
AshnFlash has got an early look at three LEGO Fortnite Spider-Verse skins set to release at some point today (December 6), joining three existing Spider-Man skins already in the game. The skins look admittedly impressive, with each version of the web-slinging hero – Peter B. Parker, Spider-Man Noir, and Spider-Punk – having its own unique details that capture its personality.

Perhaps most interesting for LEGO fans who don’t play LEGO Fortnite, however, is that it could be the first look at the minifigure designs for the rumoured 71050 Sony’s Spider-Verse, a Collectible Minifigures series based on Spider-Verse characters.
This wouldn’t be the first time that LEGO Fortnite has preceded a physical minifigure, with Jack Skellington appearing as a skin in the game several months ahead of the reveal of 21351 Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. However, there are some slight differences in the designs, with the physical minifigure’s torso print having a narrow lapel section and featuring longer legs than its digital counterpart.

That means, despite this potentially being an indication that the LEGO Group is working on Spider-Verse designs, it’s far from confirmation that these designs will be the actual ones we get – or even whether these are the characters that we will get. By the very nature of the Spider-Verse, there are plenty of options to choose from, as we’ve already speculated on here.
Until we get official confirmation that 71050 Sony’s Spider-Verse is on the way and a full reveal, we’ll have to tide ourselves over with the LEGO Fortnite versions. See them in action ahead of their release in AshnFlash’s video, embedded below.
