LEGO Friends Heart Boxes rumoured for 2019
Brick Fanatics understands that a new subtheme will be coming to the LEGO Friends theme next year.
According to rumoured information received by Brick Fanatics, a new series of Heart Boxes will be part of the LEGO Friends theme for 2019. Each set is expected to contain pieces to build a little trinket box, with a mini-doll included to store inside the box. These will be priced as an entry point, collectible product line.
This new subtheme will cover five single mini-doll sets, covering the core characters – Mia, Andrea, Stephanie, Olivia and Emma. An additional two pack will include a new character who will be joining the LEGO Friends theme.
It is likely that these will be part of the January launch, released alongside a batch of traditional LEGO Friends sets covering the usual subject matter.
The new Friends boxes coincide with another recent rumour, that suggests that the LEGO Group will launching a new theme all about jewellery and buildable accessory boxes. It is notable that both are anticipated in January 2019, as though a concerted effort is being made to offer girls something a little different to traditional play sets.
LEGO Friends sets from the current range are available now from shop.LEGO.com.
