LEGO Harry Potter 71043 Hogwarts Castle out of stock at LEGO.com

The largest ever LEGO Harry Potter set, 71043 Hogwarts Castle, has sold out at the official LEGO online shop.

It’s the set that all Potter-heads must own, and it’s now out of stock. When first revealed, LEGO Harry Potter 71043 Hogwarts Castle wowed the (wizarding) worldwith its incredible microscale depiction of the location that is a mainstay for the entire book and film series.

At 6,020 pieces, it is the largest set in the theme by far and offers a deep, immersive building experience.

Key locations are included, such as the Great Hall, the Whomping Willow and Hagrid’s Hut. Fun details in the set go as far as house banners, flaming torches, moving staircases and potions.

There has been no word about the set retiring, so it will likely be back at some point in the future – but it won’t be around forever, so fans may want to take the next opportunity to add the model to their collection.

As it sits unavailable to purchase at LEGO.com, we reluctantly remove it from Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List – a collection of the best, currently available sets to purchase at LEGO.com, updated daily – whilst the excellent LEGO Architecture set 21046 Empire State Building sneaks back in at No 20.

Recently a list of LEGO Harry Potter sets expected to retire this year has been shared.
