LEGO House 40504 A Minifigure Tribute designer signing announced

Fans who missed out on the chance to meet the designers behind this year’s LEGO House exclusive now have another chance to do so.

The LEGO Group recently revealed what the LEGO House exclusive set for 2023 would be in the shape of 40504 A Minifigure Tribute. The 1,041-piece build was originally supposed to be unveiled at a special in-person event in Billund, Denmark, on March 1 but details of the model were released slightly earlier.

A celebration of the 45th anniversary of LEGO minifigures, 40504 A Minifigure Tribute is a large-scale version of a swashbuckling Captain Redbeard. Priced at 599 DKK (roughly £71 / $85 / €80), the Classic Pirate-themed exclusive can only be purchased from the LEGO House in Billund, meaning it’ll probably be out of reach for all but the most-dedicated of fans.

Following the launch of 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, an Instagram live reveal took place on March 2 with the designers behind the latest LEGO House Limited Edition set, Stuart Harris and Markus Rollbühler. Fans who then made the journey to Billund on March 3 had the chance to meet the pair in person, an event which will now be repeated on March 17.

Those who can make it to the LEGO House Store between 4pm and 5pm on that date will have the opportunity to chat with the designers in person, see concept versions of the model and purchase a copy of 40504 A Minifigure Tribute to be signed by Harris and Rollbühler.
