LEGO Ideas is off to the beach as a lifeguard shack surfs to 10K supporters

Your minifigures can stay safe on their annual beach day as a lifeguard shack is the latest project to pass into the LEGO Ideas review stage.

The third LEGO Ideas submission in the most recent round of the review is inspired by the beachfront vista of Miami and the stalwart lifeguards that protect its visitors.

A variety of lighter tones are used for this model, which consists of a small diorama of the beach including a stretch of sand and the titular shack on stilts.

Inside the hut, you’ll be able to find the essential lifeguard equipment such as a first aid kit, radio and the all-important sun cream. To access that interior, minifigures can either use the door or an opening hatch at the top, whilst us big figures can simply lift off the slanted roof.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
