A fourth LEGO Ideas submission has managed to chalk up 10,000 supporters, with Moon Palace making it into the third review stage of 2023.
The third LEGO Ideas review stage of 2023 is already under way, with a trio of fan-made designs currently under consideration. Most recently we’ve seen Rolls-Royce Phantom 1 join the line-up of creations currently vying to be transformed into physical LEGO sets at some point and now yet another innovative build has joined that growing list.
[bdproduct search='lego ideas' sort='discount' numberOfRecord='4' brand='' sliderMinValues='0' sliderMaxValues='750']Moon Palace has sprung from the imagination of legotruman and is based on the legend of Chang e and the moon-rabbit. The front side is intended to be a display model that presents a colourful fantasy scene, complete with ornate palace, golden arc bridge and minifigure characters.
The rear of the Moon Palace offers up a playset featuring a giant crescent moon reinforced with a Technic inner frame for stability and an inner palace inspired by Asian architecture that includes a lily pond, cinnamon trees and a detailed interior. Moon Palace is rounded out with three minifigures representing the characters from the ancient legend in the shape of Wu Gang (with rabbit figure), Chang e and the Moon Rabbit.
We won’t know if Moon Palace successfully makes it through the LEGO Ideas review process until sometime in January 2024, when the lucky sets making it on to store shelves will be announced.
