The five grand prize winners for the LEGO Ideas Prehistory contest have been announced, remixing the concept of dinosaurs with modern technology hilariously.
What started in the middle of May has come to a close as another LEGO Ideas contest officially announces its selection of winners. The Prehistory 2.0 challenge asked users to build something prehistoric and give it a modern, contemporary twist.
The LEGO Ideas community took that brief and came up with some genius concepts for models, many of which deserved to win the grand prize. Only five could ultimately take the crown, though.
The selected winners, pictured above, are Prehistoric Horror Movie by ElBidou, Time to Make bREXfast by FauxPancake, Just a 'Lil Boost by BrickBrickGrayBrick, Extinction? Not Today! by nabe_mocs, and How Does a Moa Mow Her Lawn? by cable_girl. You can take a closer look at each of the submissions on the LEGO Ideas website.
Each of these users is taking home a prize package including 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler and 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops, as well as 31379 Fierce Dinosaur and 21362 Mineral Collection.
That brings this contest to a complete close, and many others are no longer accepting entries, either. You can still put your creative efforts towards the secretive challenge, though, for a chance to help create a future gift-with-purchase.
