Every LEGO Jurassic World set retiring in 2023 and beyond – January update
Almost every current LEGO Jurassic World set is due to retire by the end of the year, including the 18+ Jurassic Park diorama 76956 T. rex Breakout.
Eleven different LEGO Jurassic World sets are currently available at LEGO.com, the majority inspired by last summer’s Jurassic World: Dominion. According toBrick Fanatics’ sources, all but three of those sets will exit production by December 31, 2023, although that date is – as always – subject to change, so check back regularly for future updates.
Top of the list for most should be the seminal 76956 T. rex Breakout, particularly in a year that’s also due to bring us more exploration of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 epic that started it all. This year is the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park, and the LEGO Group will be celebrating with a range of products inspired by the original movie.
Exactly what those will be has yet to be revealed, though rumours suggest at least five sets are on the way, including a 693-piece recreation of the Visitor Centre. For now, you can start your LEGO Jurassic Park collection with 76956 T. rex Breakout – just make sure to pick it up within the next 12 months…

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
