LEGO Marvel Black Panther characters take to the red carpet
LEGO Marvel minifigures made it onto the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever red carpet — and they’re larger than ever.
The cast and crew behind the Black Panther sequel celebrated the premiere of the upcoming film at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre, and they were joined by some brick-built friends. Enormous versions of M’Baku, Okoye, Black Panther, and King Namor, as seen in LEGO Marvel 76214 Black Panther: War on the Water.
All four are posed in battle stances, complete with weapons at the go to fight off whatever enemies they might face in the film. Marvel Entertainment shared pictures and videos of the life-sized minifigure builds on Twitter, saying: “LEGO mini-figs have taken over the Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever red carpet!”
“Talk about builds we’d follow into battle!” the LEGO Group replied to Marvel Entertainment on Twitter.
The LEGO Black Panther minifigure has stuck closely to its cinematic origins and the hype for the film has been building ever since we first saw the LEGO Marvel Black Panther wave of sets.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be able to watch in cinemas around the world from November 11. All four sets relating to the upcoming film are available to buy now, either online via LEGO.com or from official stores, as well as 76215 Black Panther, released in celebration of Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga.
