LEGO may be teasing the LEGO Ideas telephone box
A new teaser has popped up on social media that may just be the first sign of the upcoming LEGO Ideas telephone box set.
The LEGO Group are teasing something new on Instagram with a stickered suitcase that heavily references London. The teaser asks if anyone has any ‘Ideas’ on what it could be, likely referencing the fan-inspired theme.
Given the various London connections on the suitcase, something based on the city being teased would make sense and LEGO Ideas just so happens to have John Cramp’s Red Telephone Box currently in development for an official set. Note that the image below is the fan design and not the official set, which has yet to be revealed.
That’s only speculation based on the teaser, but many comments on Instagram have come to the same conclusion. Add to that the various red pieces and the phone element and it seems to be the most likely option. You can see exactly what’s coming to LEGO Ideas by clicking here.
