LEGO announces Minas Tirith launch parties and designer signings

The LEGO Group has announced a series of launch parties and designer signing events for the release of 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith.

Ahead of the set’s release on June 1 for LEGO Insiders and June 4 for the wider public, the LEGO Group will host exclusive launch events for LEGO Insiders at select LEGO Stores in the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The event will feature an early look at 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, which LEGO Insiders will be able to purchase three days before its wider launch, as well as first access to the gift-with-purchase 40893 The Lord of the Rings: Grond.

The launch parties will also include activities such as costume and trivia contests, poster giveaways and an exclusive build activity. The event is for adults aged 18 and above who must sign up for entry by clicking here. You can find your nearest participating store on LEGO.com by looking for this event page.

The LEGO Group has also announced two designer signing events for Minas Tirith in London and Munich. Fans can meet the creator of 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, François Zapf, and have their copies of it signed. No other sets, including the gift-with-purchase, will be signed.

The LEGO Store Leicester Square in London will host the first signing on June 1 at 10:00am BST, while the Munich signing will take place at LEGO Store München Zentrum at 10:00am CEST.

11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith hits shelves on June 1 for LEGO Insiders and June 4 for the wider public for £579.99 / €649.99 / $649.99. It comes with an exclusive gift-with-purchase from June 1 to 7 or while stocks last.
