LEGO Minecraft rumoured to visit one of the toughest Overworld areas

2024 saw the introduction of a whole new type of challenge in Minecraft and it’s thought to be replicated in a LEGO set in 2025.

Minecraft’s Trial Chambers can be found underground in any Overworld biome and act as structures that contain unique combat challenges. They are also the only place where breezes spawn, so if you want to collect breeze rods to craft wind charges, you’ll need to venture into the underground caverns.

If you don’t want to brave them digitally, you might soon be able to explore them through LEGO, if Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat is to be believed. They report that a previously rumoured set known only by its set number is set to be 21271 Trial Chamber, made up of 322 pieces and coming out in January or March next year.

The rumoured LEGO Minecraft set is not thought to be connected to the upcoming Minecraft movie but instead focused on the game. Trial Chambers are made up of connecting chambers and corridors, with traps and mobs within, so it would make for a fun contained set, with the opportunity to debut some new interactive play features like hoppers, dispenser traps, and other obstacles, as well as, of course, the breezes.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
