LEGO Minecraft rumoured piece counts paint a strange Wither picture
The latest LEGO Minecraft 2026 rumours include potential piece counts that paint a strange picture for an expected Wither set.
Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat has shared some rumoured piece counts for LEGO Minecraft January 2026 sets, reported via Clay Bricks on reddit. Most are in line with what you’d expect from LEGO Minecraft, with smaller sets between 50 and 250 pieces said to be priced under $20 and larger ones said to be priced over $50 climbing up to close to 800 pieces.
However, one rumoured set, 21590 Wither Battle, is said to be made up of 494 pieces, despite costing $64.99. That would be a steep price per piece ratio, but if the rumoured set name is any indication, this could be the result of some larger specialised pieces for a new Wither design. While we’re just speculating here, the tough Minecraft mob has a unique look, with its three skeletal heads, so perhaps some larger, specialised pieces could account for the potentially high price per piece.
