LEGO NASA Ulysses Space Probe VIP launch date confirmed

The LEGO Group has finally confirmed a launch date for the delayed Ulysses Space Probe VIP reward, which was originally supposed to debut alongside 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery.

The reward’s release will be staggered across different locations around the world from tomorrow, April 14, becoming available in the UK and Europe at 9am BST / 10am CET, North America at 9am EDT and in Australia and New Zealand at 9am AEST, according to an official tweet.

The LEGO NASA Ulysses Space Probe experienced a delayed take-off due to unexpected circumstances, as it was initially supposed to go online from April 1. Redeemable for 1,800 VIP points (or around £12 in rewards vouchers), the physical product is available exclusively through the VIP Rewards Centre.

Tying into the release of 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, the Ulysses Space Probe is one of two interstellar rewards available for VIPs. Alongside the Space Probe itself, you can also acquire an A3 poster of the Space Shuttle Discovery.

If you’re keen to get your hands on the brick-built version of the space probe that once circled the sun, you’ll probably need to move quickly. Past VIP rewards have sold out rapidly, so make sure that all systems are go when it gets close to the release time.
