LEGO Rebuild the World freebie extended through November

The LEGO Group has extended its new Rebuild the World promo through November, lining up perfectly with the still-running 40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms freebie.

Both of those gifts-with-purchase will now be available through November 7, and you’ll be able to grab both in a single order by being savvy with your purchases. 40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms (review) is free with a £100 / $100 / €100 spend on LEGO Harry Potter sets, while 5006890 Rebuildable Flying Car is free with a £120 / €120 spend on anything (it hasn’t been extended in the US).

The one caveat is that you’ll need to be a LEGO VIP member to score the colourful flying car, but if you haven’t yet signed up to the LEGO Group’s loyalty program, now’s as good a time as any: alongside access to exclusive gifts like this one, you’ll also earn points to spend on future purchases and limited-edition rewards.

From November 8, 40488 Coffee Cart will be free with a $65 spend in the US (pricing and availability is still to be confirmed for other regions), which suggests November 7 will indeed be the final cut-off date for both of these promos. Unless the LEGO Group’s feeling very generous, that is – but more likely, any remaining stock after that point will be held back for a future date.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
