LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Crabmeat now available as Insiders reward
The latest reward available to Insiders members is now up for grabs in the shape of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 40781 Badnik: Crabmeat.
LEGO Insiders members looking to spend their hard-earned points on something new are in for a treat, as a unique set has now been added to the Reward Centre. 40781 Badnik: Crabmeat was originally presumed to be a gift-with-purchase (as per its official listing), but that’s ultimately turned out to not be the case.
The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog build can be obtained by Insiders members from today, costing 2,000 points. Coming in at 181 pieces, the video game model offers up an 11cm tall recreation of the mechanical menace, as assembled by Dr. Robotnik.
Valued at £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99, 40781 Badnik: Crabmeat boasts moveable arms, legs and eyestalks, as well as opening claws and a removable Green Hill Zone-style base. In addition, the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set also comes with a tiny Tocky animal friend figure to complete the scene.
Insiders members who redeem the reward will be sent a promotional code (valid for 60 days) which can then be used with their next online LEGO purchase to obtain the model. The code will need to be entered at the checkout stage to complete the process, with the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog build shipping with your next order.
The good news for those looking to boost the contents of their digital wallets and pick up 40781 Badnik: Crabmeat is that the latest double points promotional event has kicked off today, along with a new GWP. Purchasing sets will earn Insiders members twice the usual amount of points until February 12, making it the perfect time to grab the brick-built LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog reward.
