The first minifigures for James Bond and Dominic Toretto are coming soon as listings from Jouéclub, as reported by The Brick Fan and Hoth Bricks, who also revealed the LEGO CITY summer 2022 farm sets early, have showcased the first images for the rumoured 007 and Fast & Furious Speed Champions models.
Following in the footsteps of the larger 10262 James Bond Aston Martin DB5, the iconic spy vehicle has been scaled down for minifigures to use but appears to have done away with any gadgets in favour of additional details that complete the look of the car.
A single minifigure of James Bond inspired by his appearance in No Time to Die is included, though there is space for at least one more in the vehicle. Based on information from a previous listing, this may cost €19.99 for 298 pieces, though that’s not confirmed.
Also listed on the retailer is a second movie-based car from the Fast & Furious franchise. The model recreates Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and includes the character as a brand new minifigure, the first based on the franchise much like James Bond in 76911 Aston Martin DB5. Another listing for the build stated that it would cost €19.99 for 345 pieces.
The interior of the vehicle only has room for one minifigure, though that’s to make space for additional details such as a roll cage. This car has been depicted before in 75893 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and 42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger, the latter of which was also a Fast & Furious set.
Release dates for both have not been confirmed, but have been previously rumoured for an August 1, 2022 release. At the time of writing, this has not been confirmed and should be treated with caution as with all rumours.
