LEGO Spider-Verse 2025 set offers insight into rumoured Collectible Minifigures series
LEGO Spider-Verse is coming in 2025 via 76311 Miles Morales vs. the Spot, offering some insight into the rumoured Collectible Minifigures series.
A recent reveal by a Polish retailer has confirmed that LEGO Marvel is officially entering the Spider-Verse next year through 76311 Miles Morales Vs. the Spot. The sequel-based model is the first official representation of the animated film franchise after the movie included a LEGO multiverse and gained attention by bringing a young fan animator on board the team and it was only a matter of time until it was represented somewhere in LEGO Marvel.
The 375-piece set has no release date at the time of writing as we wait for more details following the initial retailer listing. We do know that it includes four minifigures though, covering the Spot, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy and Officer Jefferson. That’s a decent mix of characters from the film but it barely scratches the surface of the movie’s minifigure potential.
Thankfully, rumour has it that a Collectible Minifigures series coming next year will expand these initial Spider-Verse offerings with hopefully at least 12 more minifigures.
Assuming the LEGO Group would intend this to be an extension of 76311 Miles Morales vs. the Spot, we can cross off four minifigures from the list of contenders for the rumoured Spider-Verse series. Miles Morales’ standard suit, Gwen’s standard suit, Officer Jefferson and the Spot’s white form are unlikely to appear in the rumoured series.
Miles Morales still seems likely to be included in the series as does Gwen and the Spot but the LEGO Group may opt to take a page out of 71019 THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE’s book and cover alternate versions of iconic characters than in the standard sets.
Following that logic, Miles in his school uniform, Gwen in a more detailed Ghost Spider outfit with printing on the hood, arms and legs and the Spot’s more powerful black form would be appropriate for the rumoured series. Officer Jefferson seems unlikely to warrant a second minifigure over other Spider-Man variants. You can see who else we’d like to see in the rumoured series by clicking here.
Take all LEGO rumours, including that of the Spider-Verse minifigures series, with caution for now. Either way, we at least know that LEGO Marvel is embracing the Spider-Verse officially at long last next year via 76311 Miles Morales vs. the Spot.
