LEGO Star Wars 5006290 Yoda’s Lightsaber officially confirmed

What is expected to be a gift with purchase set, LEGO Star Wars 5006290 Yoda’s Lightsaber, has turned up at the LEGO online shop.

LEGO Star Wars 5006290 Yoda’s Lightsaber was recently revealed to be on the way – albeit with product number 6346098 – and now a listing for the set has been added to LEGO.com. It’s valued at £14.99 in the UK and $14.99 in the US.

The model is expected to be free with 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina, which will launch tomorrow. The 3,187 piece Master Builder Series set builds the iconic location and includes plenty of scum and villainy to populate it.

Yoda’s lightsaber was introduced in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, memorably unveiled when he encountered Count Dooku on Geonosis.

Free bonus sets have become more common in the last couple of years, used by the LEGO Group as an incentive to order big impressive new models sooner rather than later.

One more unannounced LEGO Star Wars set is expected this year – 75318 The Child will offer the beloved Baby Yoda as a buildable sculpture. As for next year, a whole batch of new sets are expected, teased in a new rumour list.
