LEGO Star Wars 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack review

Eagerly anticipated, just how good is the LEGO Star Wars battle pack 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack?

Price: £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: 102 Available: December 26 (UK), January 1 (USA)

As good as it gets. Review over. Ok, we’ll talk a bit more about exactly how 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack is everything great about LEGO Star Wars battle packs, but this is an easy sell that doesn’t need anyone’s review to convince you to go and get it. Right now.

Included in the set is a speeder, a little landscape build and four minifigures. Each minifigure is a Mandalorian sporting a unique colour scheme and overall design. Two share the same torso design but in radically different colour palettes, whilst one has printed legs in the same design as The Mandalorian from 75254 AT-ST Raider (review) but again in a new set of colours. Meanwhile, all four have the same cape style as 75254’s Mandalorian minifigure, in three new colours, and, whilst there are two types of base design across the four helmets, the distribution of colour and additional detailing really gives each its own individual style and identity.

This is a set based on or inspired by the Disney+ series The Mandalorian where SPOILERS the Mandalorians as a race have been driven into hiding. We glimpse a few of them across a couple of episodes before a more important involvement at one’s conclusion, and in the show they have been designed very differently to each other, in colour, armour design, size and battle purpose. SPOILERS END

Without necessarily picking out specific Mandalorians from the show, 75267 perfectly captures the essence of the show at the same time as just simply providing LEGO Star Wars fans with four gorgeously-designed Mandalorian minifigures packed with colour and characters. The detail and variety across the four minifigures are perhaps the best to be captured in a battle pack quartet to date – how many other battle packs can you think of with four unique designs like this? They are few and far between.

The speeder represents a great throwback to 2011’s 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack, upgrading the design ever so slightly and ageing the colour scheme to fit into the period of time The Mandalorian is based in.

The small landscape build is quick and simple as a build but represents good play value and once again just helps to create the final aesthetic that places 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack in the Star Wars universe.

75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack is a great LEGO Star Wars set that will rightly sit at the top of many a LEGO Star Wars fan’s wish-list.
