LEGO Star Wars 75337 AT-TE Walker already on back order

As expected, LEGO Star Wars 75337 AT-TE Walker is proving insanely popular – and is already on back order in the UK and Europe, only hours after going on sale.

The 1,082-piece walker is not only the first AT-TE in nine years, but also the first to include a Phase II Commander Cody minifigure, which has been heavily requested by the community for years now. So it’s little wonder that you’re already facing a wait to get your hands on the Republic vehicle, which has also been delayed indefinitely in the US thanks to ‘delivery challenges’.

At one point this morning, the LEGO Group was anticipating that orders of 75337 AT-TE Walker would be fulfilled ‘in 60 days’ – or nearly two months out from its release date of August 1. It’s since revised that shipping date to a more agreeable August 10, so you’ll only have to wait a couple of weeks (rather than a couple of months) for your copy to arrive on your doorstep.

75337 AT-TE Walker comes in at £119.99 in the UK and €139.99 in Europe, which is only £30.01 / €10.01 away from qualifying for the returning 90th-anniversary set 40567 Forest Hideout. The gift-with-purchase is available through August 14, or while stocks last, with all orders above £150 / €150, and it’s well worth topping up your basket with some extra goodies to reach that threshold.

If you want the best odds of getting your hands on 75337 AT-TE Walker as soon as possible, make sure to place your order before its shipping date gets bumped back again – or, worse, it shifts to ‘temporarily out of stock’, which means you won’t be able to order it (or its Commander Cody minifigure, three 212th Legion Clone Troopers and Clone Gunner) at all.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
