LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary page teases more minifigures
The 25th anniversary webpage for LEGO Star Wars has been updated, teasing more minifigures while removing one major teaser.
The LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary celebrations are just days away from starting on March 1 and the LEGO Group has updated the page on LEGO.com for the anniversary. Previously, a hologram silhouette of a minifigure next to the revealed Darth Malak and ARC Trooper Fives could be interacted with to open another tab.
This tab featured another silhouette of a ship that appeared to be a similar shape to what you might expect for the rumoured 75383 Sith Infiltrator next to the tagline ‘Rebel with a cause’.
Now, no such set silhouette can be seen but there are three hologram minifigures instead at the time of writing. The tagline remains and is visible on all three hologram tabs too. The latter seems likely to be an error unless it’s teasing multiple versions of the same character. The removal of the model silhouette is unusual but it appears that the LEGO Group want to surround whatever set it is in a bit more mystery for now.
The webpage still states that there are six of the special 25th-anniversary minifigures on the way, though only five are being teased at the time of writing. For now, we can look forward to the first two later this week. Here’s a reminder of what is confirmed and rumoured for LEGO Star Wars in 2024.
