LEGO Star Wars celebrates 20th anniversary at Fan Expo Canada
A special LEGO Star Wars presentation is coming to Fan Expo Canada, with a special exhibition coinciding with the event.
LEGO Star Wars is celebrating 20 years of the long running theme this year, with a special display and presentation coming to Canada. From Thursday, August 22, until Sunday, August 25, Fan Expo Canada is taking place in Toronto.
To coincide with the event, from Monday, August 19 until Sunday, August 25, the LEGO Group is hosting a special display of LEGO Star Wars minifigures. Rebelscum reports that it will be the world’s largest LEGO Star Wars minifigure display.
At the convention itself, Design Manager Michael Lee Stockwell will be discussing the theme and presumably answering audience questions. It will take place on August 23 at 4.00pm in Room 716BH.
In a recent competition that fell under the Greatest Battles banner, a talented fan won a huge LEGO Star Wars prize package thanks to his tribute to The Phantom Menace.
The latest set to be revealed for the theme is LEGO Star Wars 75245 Advent Calendar, which is expected to launch on September 1.
