Fresh LEGO Star Wars Dark Falcon and Jedi Bob rumours emerge

More details have emerged regarding three LEGO Star Wars sets rumoured to be releasing this year, including a Dark Millennium Falcon.

The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm released a teaser yesterday for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, a ‘four-piece’ animated special due to land on Disney+ on September 13. The show looks to feature a number of mixed-up versions of familiar characters and vehicles from a galaxy far, far away, such as TIE-Wings, Ewok bounty hunters and Geonosian Jedi.

The footage also revealed a first glimpse at what are rumoured to be a number LEGO Star Wars sets and minifigures said to arrive later this year. The teaser includes a Dark Millennium Falcon, a recolour of 75192 Millennium Falcon that may not match the potential upcoming model, Imperial X-fighters, Jedi Bob and the sinister Darth Jar Jar.

In the wake of the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy teaser, Instagram user maxbautde has posted fresh details regarding the rumoured builds and minifigures. However, do note that all such information remains pure speculation until confirmed by the LEGO Group.

75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter

Price: €39.99 Piece count: 305 Release date: August 1, 2024

The first of the LEGO Star Wars mash-ups is 75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter, reported to be a 305-piece set retailing for €39.99. The craft may potentially be an updated version of previous ships, such as 75360 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter, and might be landing on August 1, 2024.

Fans of the near-mythical Jedi Bob should be pleased to hear that the yellow-skinned minifigure is also said to be making an appearance in the set, alongside what may be a Clone Trooper, a Mon Calamari and possibly an astromech droid.

75389 Dark Falcon

Price: €179.99 Piece count: 1,579 Release date: August 1, 2024

Although the Dark Millennium Falcon glimpsed in the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy teaser is based on an existing set, the ship’s colour scheme may very well be hinting at the look of the rumoured upcoming version of the craft, reported as being 75389 Dark Falcon.

Featuring a mix of black, dark grey and Sith red colours, the twisted take on the fastest hunk of junk would certainly stand out from previous iterations of the model and could potentially feature a landing ramp at the front of the ship, as seen in the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy teaser.

75389 Dark Falcon is also said to include a total of six minifigures in the shape of Darth Jar Jar Binks, Darth Rey, Evil C-3PO, Beach Luke Skywalker, Darth Dev Greebling and White Darth Vader.

75393 X-Wing & TIE Fighter

Price: €109.99 Piece count: 1,063 Release date: August 1, 2024

The last of the trio of rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets for later this year is reported to be 75393 X-Wing & TIE Fighter. Previous information on the potential model suggests both ships may feature the ability to swap wings between the two vehicles, creating hybrid versions of both.

The LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy teaser does feature Imperial X-fighters and official details for the special mention TIE-Wings, so initial information on the builds may well prove to be correct. The 1,063-piece set is also said to come with minifigures of the animated show’s Sig Greebling and Yesi Scale, alongside a Rebel Pilot, astromech droid and TIE Pilot.
