LEGO Star Wars Death Star rumoured for Cal Kestis minifigure

A new LEGO Death Star set is rumoured for later this year and is said to be the home of the reported Cal Kestis minifigure.

Featuring as a small section in both 75159 Death Star and 10188 Death Star, the space station’s conference room is rumoured to be getting a new set possibly for the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. Instagram user Unibricks reports that 75394 Death Star Conference Room is joining the recent list of rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets and that it will be the home of a 25th-anniversary minifigure.

Rumour has it that the set could cost $79.99 and its numbering and minifigures suggest that it could be released later this year.

Rumours from earlier today said that Cal Kestis based on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order could receive a new minifigure for the anniversary of the theme this year. Now, it’s believed that he will feature alongside Darth Vader, a pair of Stormtroopers, a Death Star Trooper and an Imperial Officer in 75394 Death Star Conference Room.

Covering a single room of the Death Star as an individual model isn’t a new concept. Most recently 75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama, 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama, 75229 Death Star Escape, 75246 Death Star Cannon and more have done the same.

Still, the conference room isn’t exactly the most iconic scene and not something that you may have expected to be a set on its own. It is the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars though, so this may be the best time for it. Remember that all of this information is only a rumour at the time of writing and you should take these reports with caution until more is officially confirmed.

Er, recreating the scene with only one named character minifigure? You need at least Tarkin and Motti as well, otherwise, what’s the point?
