LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has new nightmare fuel
An upcoming second instalment in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has the community excited by one character and unnerved by another.
The reveal of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past earlier today confirmed returning characters and some new additions to what has now become a unique Star Wars continuity. The second instalment of the series will feature the likes of the Lepi smuggler Jaxxon T. Tumperakki of Star Wars comics fame, the giant Chewbacca figure that is currently available and the retired Ahsoka BrickHeadz. All four parts will stream on September 19, 2025.

StormingZee had a more insightful reaction, noting that Jaxxon’s first minifigure uses the head from 71030 Looney Tunes, which has not reappeared since. Whether Jaxxon will appear in a set is unclear. The first instalment of Rebuild the Galaxy received three sets, but there are many unique characters in the series missing from those initial sets.
“They are going to run with the Chewbacca nightmare face as a thing now, aren’t they?” Stryker_T shared on Reddit, referencing early reactions to 75371 Chewbacca. “That’s hilarious. The first one was a lot better than I expected, and the sets were fun, so it’ll be interesting to see how this ends up.”
Speaking of nightmare fuel, the BrickHeadz Ahsoka character has stirred up some unnerved reactions from the community thanks to how her mouth has been animated – a feature that BrickHeadz usually don’t have.

“I preferred believing that BrickHeadz just didn’t have mouths the same way minifigs don’t have noses,” said GiantChocoChicknTaco. “I will not recover from this nutcracker mouth revelation”
It begs the question of whether any other parts of the BrickHeadz character will move in Pieces of the Past. The poster suggests that her arms, legs, head, and hands will remain static, but this might change before September. The idea that a character in an action-packed LEGO Star Wars series might be almost entirely static is just as interesting anyway.
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past launches on Disney+ in four parts on September 19, 2025. The first instalment of Rebuild the Galaxy and the three tie-in sets are all available now.
