LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga trailer offers map sneak peek

The hot-off-the-press trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has given us a pretty detailed look at some of the locations we will explore in the upcoming game.

As well as an updated release date, Gamescom’s Opening Night Live 2021 also offered us fresh gameplay – and a look at a Galaxy Map. It seems we’ll be able to explore the entire Star Wars universe at will with this map.

The image shows blue areas, presumably that the player has already unlocked, alongside red areas marked with question marks, that are apparently yet to be discovered. Planets from across all nine movies are on display, ranging from Naboo, made famous by the prequels, to Ajan Kloss of the sequels.

This sneak peek at the range of locations on offer in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga shows us how truly enormous the game will be. This could be why it’s taken so long to get an updated release date. All we can hope for is that they stick to it this time.

We already shared our opinion on what locations we’d love to see in the game. This Galaxy Map doesn’t show us all of what will be playable in the game, so we’re holding out hope that we’ll be able to tick them all off.
