LEGO x Lofi Girl partnership expands beyond Ideas challenge

The LEGO Group and Lofi Girl’s partnership isn’t limited to a LEGO Ideas challenge, it turns out. The iconic video now has a LEGO-specific version.

Ideal for building your latest LEGO set, the Lofi Girl YouTube channel has a new video transforming the study-focused girl into a LEGO minifigure, as well as the cat and room around her. The description confirms that this animation loop was animated by the LEGO Group.

It’s a match made in heaven especially given that the LEGO Group has previously pursued and released their own building playlists and similar white noise or podcast projects. However, now those who prefer the aesthetic and style of Lofi Girl have a LEGO-centric video to enjoy.

Don’t expect the LEGO Lofi Girl minifigure to be released in the future unless the partnership expands even further than this and the LEGO Ideas challenge currently taking place. You might consider listening to the video whilst you put together your entry for the challenge.

The LEGO Lofi Girl playlist is available, without video, on Spotify, Apple Music and other audio streaming platforms as well as YouTube. This new partnership between the LEGO Group and Lofi Girl might seem odd at first, but it’s not the first time that the two have been connected.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
