LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area opens ultimate LEGO attraction

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area is opening a brand new area this week, including almost 40 unique LEGO builds.

From June 8, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area will be welcoming little LEGO fans to the Ultimate Indoor LEGO Playground. The new area includes exclusive rides, attractions, and 4D movies that you can only find at this centre.

On top of that, a team of 45 LEGO model builders, nine LEGO Group designers and four technicians dedicated over 7,150 hours to creating Miniland out of one and a half million bricks, the centrepiece of the new exhibit.

Locals will immediately recognise the features of Miniland, with brick-built replicas of local landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the Transamerica Pyramid, Apple Park, San Jose City Hall, and Hoover Tower, as well as powered versions of San Francisco’s famous cable cars and BART trains.

You can buy tickets online here or annual pass holders will get an email soon to reserve their places. Prices start from $23 per person, which guarantees access to free play areas, 4D movies, and rides inside the Discovery Center.
