Live-action Daredevil lives to fight another day
Netflix’s live-action Daredevil series is continuing his adventures on Disney+, inspiring further hopes of more LEGO sets inspired by the character.
Starring Charlie Cox in the main role, the Daredevil TV show launched in 2015 with a grittier take on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like other Netflix Marvel shows connections to the MCU were present but downplayed, allowing the show to stand on its own merits. Three seasons and 39 episodes were initially produced, and the show eventually crossed over with other Netflix Marvel characters in The Defenders.

Following Disney’s acquisition of the licence, it seems that this version of Daredevil will be continuing his fight for justice – both legal and extralegal. It’s not been confirmed if Charlie Cox will be reprising his role, although (spoilers) given his cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it seems extremely likely.
The reappearance of this version of Daredevil inspired hopes for more LEGO minifigures of the Man Without Fear. To date, only a single version of him has appeared in LEGO form (via premium product 76178 Daily Bugle). It’s to be hoped that this isn’t the only time we see this character in a LEGO set.
However, many characters from the new Disney+ series have been thin on the ground to date. It’s possible they’ll be announced in a LEGO Marvel set in the future (or even a new line of Collectible Minifigures) but until confirmation from the LEGO Group, we’re very much flying blind at this point.
Since this is a new, unofficial announcement it’s unclear when this new series of Daredevil will appear. We’ll let you know when an official announcement is made.
