First official look at LEGO NINJAGO 40704 Micro NINJAGO Docks

The second in a planned series of four microscale LEGO NINJAGO models has been revealed, with a first look at 40704 Micro NINJAGO Docks.

LEGO NINJAGO fans received an unexpected treat earlier last month, when the first images of 40703 Micro NINJAGO City dropped. The microscale model is due to offer up a tiny take on 2017’s 70620 NINJAGO City and will be the first in a planned series of four scaled recreations to collect throughout 2024, similar to last year’s Houses of the World collection.

The mini modular build is currently listed on LEGO.com as a gift-with-purchase set and while there are no details at this stage regarding potential availability or spending threshold, picking up all four might prove quite expensive. It’s possible that 40703 Micro NINJAGO City may arrive sometime around March 1 to accompany a line-up of recently revealed LEGO NINJAGO sets, but that’s just speculation on our part at this stage.

In addition, the LEGO Group has now revealed a first look at the second set in the collectible microscale series, 40704 Micro NINJAGO Docks. All we have to go on at this point is a blurry box image courtesy of the official Product Certification page, but the tiny build certainly seems to match up well to its big brother, 70657 NINJAGO City Docks.

Details such as a small crane and boat can be spotted at the front of the LEGO NINJAGO model, as well as the grocery store, map room house, a section of water and more, despite the set no doubt having a fraction of 70657 NINJAGO City Docks’ 3,553 pieces.

The silhouette on the back of 40703 Micro NINJAGO City’s box shows how accurate the completed 40704 Micro NINJAGO Docks will be, suggesting that the remaining two models may well indeed be microscale versions of 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens and 71799 NINJAGO City Markets.

With the second of the two LEGO NINJAGO mini models now revealed, we’re hoping there’ll be an official confirmation soon regarding when fans can look forward to starting their four-part microscale collection.
