First look at LEGO Star Wars 66808 Epic Battle Set

The building instructions page has revealed a first look at LEGO Star Wars 66808 Epic Battle Set, and confirmed the existence of another multipack on the way later this year.

Combining two of this summer’s most overpriced LEGO Star Wars sets, 66808 Epic Battle Set puts 75431 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers Battle Pack and 75435 Battle of Felucia Separatist MTT into one box, then sprinkles 30708 Millennium Falcon on top for… reasons. Reasons that presumably include ‘we’ve produced too many of this polybag’ and not ‘the Millennium Falcon was secretly involved in a battle on Felucia’.

While the contents of these two sets might once have already been included in one product, with one eye on 75337 AT-TE Walker’s minifigure line-up, the LEGO Star Wars team has separated them out for the August 2025 range. That’s good news for anyone wanting to stock up on 327th troopers without buying a bunch of MTTs, but bad news for anyone with any kind of LEGO budget.

It’s not yet clear where 66808 Epic Battle Set will be available, or how much it will cost, but previous multipacks have generally been exclusive to a single third-party retailer (such as Walmart in the US, or Costco around the world) and have often provided decent savings on buying their respective sets separately. That may be one way to navigate the high prices of these individual builds – but it depends where this one shows up.

If it’s a Walmart exclusive, for example, then chances are it won’t find its way to other countries outside the US at all. But the timing of this one is a little strange, too, as these multipacks usually bundle together sets that have been on shelves for a while rather than brand new releases. That seems to be true of 66804 Star Wars: The Clone Wars & The Mandalorian Gift Set, which also has a listing on the building instructions page.

There’s no image for that one, but it has 423 pieces – which is the combined total of 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack, 75391 Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter and 75373 Ambush on Mandalore Battle Pack. Those are all 2024 sets, and the latter is currently scheduled to retire this year, so that multipack will presumably be a means by which to clear out remaining stock of the Mandalorian Season 3 set.

75431 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers Battle Pack and 75435 Battle of Felucia Separatist MTT will be available to purchase separately from August 1. Check out the full LEGO Star Wars 2025 slate (so far) in the table below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
