Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion release date revealed

Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion series on Disney+ has had its release date revealed on the streaming platform 

The Disney+ page for the upcoming Marvel show Secret Invasion has been updated, revealing that the series will start streaming on June 21, 2023. 

Secret Invasion will see Nick Fury, played by Samuel Jackson, return alongside Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull, Talos, to investigate and uncover a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls infiltrating Earth and its society.  

The series will follow the events of Captain Marvel, where the Skrulls debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though they have been featured in other projects too. 

A trailer for the series was revealed at the D23 Expo in 2022, though there have been no significant announcements since, at least until this release date confirmation. 

LEGO Marvel sets for MCU streaming series are rare, with What If…?’s first season being the only one to receive them. However, there was a Collectible Minifigures Series focused on the first shows on Disney+ and another is rumoured for later this year. 

Alongside Secret Invasion on June 21, 2023, other Marvel series coming to Disney+ this year include Loki Season 2 and X-Men ‘97.
