Massive wave of LEGO Disney reveals, including BrickHeadz, advent calendar, and more

The LEGO Group has just officially revealed a huge wave of LEGO Disney sets, including a new mini princess castle, BrickHeadz, and more.

It’s been a busy week of LEGO reveals and it’s not slowing down anytime soon, with 14 new LEGO Disney sets appearing on LEGO.com. It’s a pretty varied wave, ranging from a very affordable buildable Simba to some play-centred builds featuring minidolls.

We’ve got full galleries, global prices, and more details on every set, so scroll down for all the latest LEGO Disney reveals.

We’re kicking off with 40720 Mini Disney Sleeping Beauty Castle, the latest in LEGO Disney’s series of mini castles. You can see above the most recent ones lined up side by side, to give a sense of how good they look as a set. This one comes with a minifigure of Sleeping Beauty, to pose alongside her pink and blue palace.

40749 Joy, Sadness & Anxiety

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 300 Release date: June 1, 2024

To celebrate the upcoming Inside Out sequel, we’ve got a trio of LEGO BrickHeadz, 40749 Joy, Sadness & Anxiety. Inside Out fans will recognise Joy and Sadness, while Anxiety is a newcomer as main character Riley heads into teenagehood.

40752 Carl, Russell & Kevin

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 308 Release date: June 1, 2024

The second LEGO Disney BrickHeadz to be revealed is 40752 Carl, Russell & Kevin, showcasing the two main characters from Up, alongside the quirky bird they meet on their adventures. Kevin’s head can turn and there are plenty of details brought in from the movie, including Carl’s cane and Russell’s backpack of everything he could need to survive in the wild.

40752 Mirabel Madrigal

Price: £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 179 Release date: June 1, 2024

In a solo LEGO BrickHeadz pack is 40752 Mirabel Madrigal, capturing Mirabel’s colourful dress and glasses in a vibrant design. Her curly hair has also been artfully recreated using rounded bricks, producing an overall impressively accurate version of the animated character from Encanto.

43235 Ariel’s Music Stage

Price: £12.99 / $15.99 / €15.99 Pieces: 60 Release date: June 1, 2024

Moving onto playsets, 43235 Ariel’s Music Stage features not Ariel herself but one of her sister, apparently sneaking her way onto her music stage. Sebastian is also there, with an element that depicts him closer to his animated version, rather than the more recent live-action crab.

43240 Maleficent’s Dragon Form

Price: £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99 Pieces: 583 Release date: June 1, 2024

LEGO Disney might attract some newcomers to the theme with this impressive dragon in black and purple that truly dominates the set. 43240 Maleficent’s Dragon Form also includes a brick-built section of the castle that is dwarfed by Maleficent in dragon form, along with two minidolls.

43243 Simba the Lion King Cub

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 222 Release date: Pre-order now, shipping from June 1, 2024

43243 Simba the Lion King Cub is pretty adorable (despite having slightly too wide a nose for his face) and even more so at the relatively affordable price of £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99. Made from just 22 pieces, he looks to be pretty posable for his size, with movable joints at the ankles, shoulders, and neck. If you’re keen, he’s available to pre-order now.

43244 Elsa’s Ice Palace

Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 630 Release date: June 1, 2024

We’re returning to Frozen with 43244 Elsa’s Ice Palace, recreating the blue castle made from ice that Elsa creates, along with minidolls of all the main characters: Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff, alongside Olaf and Sven as well. It appears to more of a facade than anything else but has enough icy details to make for an engaging playset.

43245 The Magical Madrigal House

Price: £139.99 / $159.99 / €159.99 Pieces: 1,560 Release date: June 1, 2024

43245 The Magical Madrigal House is the second visit to the magical house from Encanto but packs more detail, now expanding to three storeys and upping the minidoll population to seven. It appears as though you can display three sections of the house separately or rearrange them as you please, recreating the animated magic of the house.

43251 Antonio’s Animal Sanctuary

Price: £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 Pieces: 310 Release date: June 1, 2024

Zooming in on one section of Encanto, 43251 Antonio’s Animal Sanctuary depicts Antonio and Mirabel, along with a host of Antonio’s animal friends. The 310-piece build also features various scenery from his jungle-themed bedroom.

43252 Moana’s Flowerpot

Price: £39.99 / $39.99 / €44.99 Pieces: 619 Release date: June 1, 2024

Now moving onto Moana, 43252 Moana’s Flowerpot is priced at £39.99 / $39.99 / €44.99 for 619 pieces. It can either open up to a playset or it works pretty well as a display model, with an arching flower and decorative pot that wouldn’t look out of place in the LEGO Botanical Collection.

43253 Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £29.99 / $44.99 / €34.99 Pieces: 253 Release date: September 1, 2024

It might only be May but you can get that festive feeling with the reveal of 43253 Advent Calendar 2024. The calendar will feature a number of princesses, including Mirabel, Moana, and Elsa, with Olaf also making an appearance on a buildable seesaw.

43254 Ariel’s Crystal Cavern

Price: £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 141 Release date: June 1, 2024

Ariel once again doesn’t appear in 43254 Ariel’s Crystal Cavern, with two other mermaid princesses once again stealing the show. The vibrant set showcases more of Ariel’s underwater life, with flounder, colourful crabs, and a cauldron with some pink-smoked potion within.

43276 Snow White’s Jewelry Box

Price: £39.99 / $44.99 / €44.99 Pieces: 358 Release date: June 1, 2024

Last but not least, 43276 Snow White’s Jewelry Box features some brick-built builders that young builders can even weigh when they’re done building, or store away in the set for future use. You can rest assured they’ll stay safe, with minidoll versions of Snow White and the Evil Queen to guard them.

Both Ariel sets do include Ariel. That’s the new live action mini doll, not one of her sister’s. Confirmed via Lego website.
