More details emerge on rumoured LEGO Star Wars Yavin Base
Online rumours hint at more possible details about the rumoured (and highly anticipated) LEGO Star Wars Yavin Rebel Base.
The latest reports we saw about the rumoured 75365 Yavin IV Rebel Base was that it would include 15 minifigures (according to Stonewars). Now, online rumours on Instagram from both exabrickslegogo_ and the_brick_news have confirmed further details about the build itself.
Reportedly, the 1,067-piece set will include the ceremony hall, the hangar, the observation tower, a Y-wing model, and another unknown room. This tracks with major scenes that Yavin IV has featured in: the medal ceremony following the destruction of the Death Star, the launch of various ships from its hangar, and several Alliance discussions throughout the films.
At just over 1,000 pieces, this places it at a similar size to 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama, which isn’t a whole lot of space for so many rooms. If the rumours are true, it’ll be interesting to see how the LEGO Star Wars designers approach such a sprawling structure as the Yavin IV Rebel Base. Perhaps it’ll be a snapshot of the larger building, or a diorama-style look into a few rooms.
Regardless, we won’t know for certain what it could look like – or even if it’s officially on the way – until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. For now, here’s a reminder of the other LEGO Star Wars sets possible on their way this year.
