New LEGO 31109 Pirate Ship and more coming to Creator this summer

LEGO Creator will launch three new sets this summer, including 31109 Pirate Ship.

With International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany kicking off today, brand new LEGO Creator sets can be discussed that will launch this summer. Brick Fanatics saw the sets at London Toy Fair, with no photography permitted. Now that the toy fair season is continuing, set names can be shared.

Three new LEGO Creator sets will launch this summer:

31110 Space Rover Explorer
31108 Caravan Family Holiday
31109 Pirate Ship

31109 Pirate Ship is an entirely brick built model, with no cloth sails. Instead, the sails are built using white elements with black pieces providing the detail. Moulded hull pieces are no-where to be seen, instead the set is built from smaller pieces right from the off.

While the minifigures seen on the set may have been placeholders, they look to have been inspired by classic LEGO Pirates in a similar to way to how those in 2010 and 2015 were. The ship is not as large as the beloved pirate ships of the dedicated theme, but it clearly takes inspiration from them.

Other LEGO products that have been announced today include DOTS, Technic Fast & Furious, Technic Lamborghini, Friends summer releases, Creator summer releases and City summer releases.
