New LEGO City summer sets officially revealed

After being listed online, twelve new LEGO City summer sets have been officially revealed on LEGO.com.

After online retailer JB Spielwaren gave us our very first look at the new LEGO City summer sets, we now have the official reveal online, giving us both the international prices and the confirmed names of all the sets coming up on June 1.

With so many new sets on the way, there’s been a huge variety of settings, characters, and vehicles that have been added for the summer line up of the LEGO City range. And if the rumours are true there’s even more on the way, potentially including a new passenger plane.

For now, let’s take a closer look at the newly confirmed LEGO City sets.

60362 Car Wash

Price: £17.99 / $32.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 243 Release date: June 1, 2023

While there aren’t any major changes to the name, the official release pictures show that there’s a few additional play features with the set. From what we can tell, you can tilt the dispenser to pour in soapy bubbles, and the drying fans on the car wash are movable.

60363 Ice-Cream Shop

Price: £29.99 / $39.99 / €34.99 Pieces: 296 Release date: June 1, 2023

Moving away from parlour in the name to just a regular shop, the interior of 60363 Ice-Cream Shop shows off an ice-cream counter, blender and a fridge as well as an outdoor seating area and a cargo bike ready for some summer ice-cream deliveries. 

60364 Street Skate Park

Price: £49.99 / $67.99 / €54.99 Pieces: 454 Release date: June 1, 2023

As well as the skateboard, scooter, and BMX bike, the newly named Street Skate Park has in-line skates and four skater minifigures, one of which has what looks like a prosthetic leg. There’s also a handy LEGO Road Plate to connect to other City sets.

60365 Apartment Building

Price: £74.99 / $94.99 / €84.99 Pieces: 688 Release date: June 1, 2023

60365 Apartment Building has everything from a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, as well as some solar panels and ways to get around. There’s also plenty of accessories for the minifigures, like a mobile phone, dumbbells, a hot dog and a juice bottle. The vehicles include a mobility scooter and a bicycle.

60366 Ski and Climbing Center

Price: £94.99 / $119.99 / €104.99 Pieces: 1,045 Release date: June 1, 2023

Initially thought to be named Winter Sports Park, 60366 Ski and Climbing Center comes with eight minifigures that have their own ski accessories, as well as a snowman, owl, and squirrel to fit in with the wintery scene. There’s also a working elevator, a bicycle, a medic pack, and even a little minifigure-sized camera.

60368 Arctic Explorer Ship

Price: £129.99 / $159.99 / €149.99 Pieces: 815 Release date: June 1, 2023

60368 Arctic Explorer Ship, renamed from the Arctic Research Ship, has everything from a helicopter, a dinghy, and a Viking shipwreck to explore. The set comes with seven minifigures, a new LEGO orca, and of course a treasure chest.

60376 Arctic Explorer Snowmobile

Price: £8.99 / $10.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 70 Release date: June 1, 2023

Keeping with the explorer theme, 60376 Arctic Explorer Snowmobile has a snowmobile for the minifigure explorer to ride on, as well as a new seal and seal pup figures (and a little fish for them to catch). There’s also a camera, a helmet for the explorer, and a little explorer’s backpack.

60377 Explorer Diving Boat

Price: £24.99 / $39.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 182 Release date: June 1, 2023

60377 Explorer Diving Boat, which was once Seaforesting Boat, has plenty of accessories to explore alongside the actual boat itself. The 5+ set includes several new animals, with the sea turtles, manta ray and hammerhead shark adding to the underwater experience, as well as the treasure chest waiting to be found.

60379 Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine

Price: £94.99 / $109.99 / €104.99 Pieces: 842 Release date: June 1, 2023

60379 Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine shows that the LEGO Group is really keeping with the exploration theme, with the set including a science lab, a mech-style diving suit, and six minifigures to explore the sea. There’s also some circling sharks lurking near a shipwreck that’s also home to some jellyfish, and there’s a skeleton nearby too.

60380 Downtown

Price: £179.99 / $199.99 / €209.99 Pieces: 2,010 Release date: June 1, 2023

Renamed from City Centre, 60380 Downtown is an 8+ set that comes with a whole 14 minifigures to fill out the city scene. With the official pictures out we can see that, as expected, there’s plenty going on, from the food court style areas to the rooftop disco to the nervous looking minifigure at the barbers.

60391 Construction Trucks and Wrecking Ball Crane

Price: £44.99 / $59.99 / €49.99 Pieces: 235 Release date: June 1, 2023

What was once thought to be called simply Demolition Site has been officially renamed to the somewhat clunkier 60391 Construction Trucks and Wrecking Ball Crane. The 4+ set has several vehicles for kids to play with, and a house ready to be demolished. There’s also four minifigures and some tools for them to work with.

60398 Family House and Electric Car

Price: £46.99 / $59.99 / €52.99 Pieces: 462 Release date: June 1, 2023

Adding the car into the official set name, 60398 Family House and Electric Car has everything a little LEGO minifigure family could want, from a conservatory to a neat little dining area. There’s also solar panels up on the ceiling, and the car being electric certainly fits in with the LEGO Group’s sustainability beliefs.

All of these sets will be available on June 1, so make sure to keep an eye out for them very soon.
