New LEGO NINJAGO and LEGO DREAMZzz books revealed

Two new books for LEGO NINJAGO and LEGO DREAMZzz have been officially confirmed, including a rare, recent minifigure to collect.

Penguin Random House has revealed two new LEGO books coming in September – Mysteries of the Merged World and The Dream Chasers’ Guide to the Dream World. These books are for LEGO NINJAGO and LEGO DREAMZzz respectively and each includes a minifigure with accessories.

They act as guidebooks for their respective worlds told from the perspective of characters from each animated series. Mysteries of the Merged World focuses on Sora and Arin and how they have survived in a world where 16 realms have merged into one landscape.

The Dream Chasers’ Guide to the Dream World includes illustrations and information about Mateo, Zoey and the rest of the cast as well as the villains, the tools, and more about the Dream Realm. They both launch on September 3, 2024, for $19.99.

An exciting aspect of each book is an included minifigure. Mysteries of the Merged World features Master Lloyd as featured in 71805 Jay’s Mech Battle Pack with a teapot and a staff. The minifigure is currently exclusive to this LEGO NINJAGO set and while it’s affordable at £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 it’s good to have another option to grab this minifigure.

The Dream Chasers’ Guide to the Dream World features Mateo and Z-Blob’s smallest representative element. The Mateo minifigure is common and appears in many other DREAMZzz sets and books, though its printing is good, especially on the legs and hair.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

The Master Lloyd minifigure is also in the Dragon stone Shrine set
It being in a $10 makes it more exclusive, but not very rare
